Logicor Scotland are proud to have helped the staff, volunteers and clients of Caberfeidh Horizons Social enterprise and Bookshop keep warm by supplying our clear heating system.

Based in Kingussie, the Caberfeidh was set up in 2004 to meet a local need to provide training and work experience, in their local community, for adults and young people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, addiction problems or long term unemployment.

Logicor Scotland were delighted to provide a modern, controllable and economical heating system to meet the Caberfeidh’s needs after their previous system failed.

The Caberfeidh is a bustling community hub and crowded with bookshelves, desks and people and so was the perfect opportunity to showcase the versatility of the clear heater system and it’s ability to fit any environment.

We are pleased to announce that following our application in April for Energy Systems Catapult’s (ESC) Innovator Challenge: Smart Heating and Cooling, Logicor has been invited to sign up to its Innovator Support Platform. We were accepted after a two-day workshop and ESC’s subsequent due diligence process.

We are pleased to announce that the Clear Heater System has been awarded the National Framework Agreement for Smart Heating Systems. The framework was awarded to us by The Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust Commercial Procurement Services and we are the sole supplier under this framework.

The framework offers a fully compliant route for all NHS departments and public sector bodies (social housing landlords, local authorities and government departments) free access to the service. This will now save them the time and money developing, tendering and evaluating bids for the systems.

This framework is designed to offer our highly efficient Clear Heater System to all members. The benefits of this framework include:

• Comfortable, evenly heated rooms.
• Controllable temperature, you can set an overall building temperature with ‘zones’, separated common spaces with ‘links’, or by each individual heater.

• Comprehensive 20 year warranty on every system.
