Smart Control Panel

How do I activate the "Simple Screen" mode?

To activate “simple screen” mode you first tap on the cog symbol on the left hand side of the screen, then tap “1. Main settings”, followed by “5. Screen options” and finally “4. Enable simple screen”.

Tapping the house symbol on the left will take you back to your new home screen which should now show the average temperature across your heating and hot water system (if installed) with large colour coded arrows for adjusting temperatures up and down.

The blue LED display lights on the control pad are too bright, Can I turn them off/down?

Yes, to turn the display lights down or off altogether press the cog symbol on the left then “1. Main settings” followed by “5. Screen options” then “2. Brightness settings”.

You can now adjust the “LEDs brightness (0-10)” from 10 (brightest) to 0 (off).

I’ve had an electrical power outage, will my system need to be re-programmed?

No, You should not need to re-programme the system. It will remember all your settings.

I’ve lost the user guide, what should I do?

The current User Guide is available on our website to download. Alternatively press the Help Icon “?” on your Control Panel to receive helpful tips at any time.

My Control panel screen is blank, is this normal?

Yes. The Logicor Smart Control Panel is programmed to go into “sleep mode” after a set amount of time. The screen should light up again with the touch of a finger as long as it is still plugged in to a socket. If it doesn’t it may be faulty/damaged.

I’ve dropped my Control Panel and broken the screen. Will my system stop working?

Your system will continue for 11 days without a Control Panel. During that time please seek a replacement or contact your distributor.

WIFI

I don’t have internet access, will the Clear Heater System still work for me?

Yes.  Having no internet access will not affect the day to day running of your system but, it is definitely an advantage to have it because it will allow some higher end functions to work better. The system only uses the internet for software updates, data transfer and certain features such as the Fireguard.

I’m a Virgin Media customer and my Virgin router has an issue connecting to the Control Panel. What I can do?

Some Virgin Media routers have a secondary firewall so you should consult your router manual to resolve that.

For all router models please note that for Wifi connections the following settings/environments need to be present:
– The 802.11 b/g Wifi standards are supported.
– The following secure authentication schemes are supported WEP/WPA/WPA2.
– DHCP support (it will give you the IP address, network mask, gateway address etc.)
– The space character is not supported in SSID mode so check that your password does not have a space in it. If it does you need to change your password to remove the space character.

General Maintenance

What can I use to clean the heaters with?

You can use a normal glass cleaner on a micro fibre cloth.

What can I use to clean my InLine Hot Water Unit?

The InLine Hot Water System is designed to cope with normal household dust. To clean, use only a clean dry cloth but avoid polish, sprays or harsh abrasives as it may reduce or damage the performance and can be dangerous.

Where do I get my spare parts from if I need any?

It is unlikely that you will need any but should you require anything contact us on 0141 952 8790 or send an email to [email protected]

Can I take my heater off the wall myself to paint behind it?

You can paint behind a heater without taking it off the wall by undoing the two top brackets and carefully leaning the heater forward by about 30 degrees.

Heater Panels

Only a few of my panels are ever hot at the one time. Is this normal?

Yes this is normal. The system is able to heat your whole house economically by switching on a only small number of individual heaters at a time.

I have scratched/damaged my heater, what should I do?

If you scratch the surface of a heater or damage it in any way you should turn it off immediately and contact your distributor.

The LED display on one or more of my heaters is flashing, is this normal?

A flashing light indicates that the heater is experiencing a temporary loss in communication with the control Panel, which is normal. The heater(s) will continue to work normally while your Control Panel automatically tries to re-establish communication.

Some PC’s, printers, phone chargers or extension leads which have in-built surge protection can interfere with communication. Try unplugging any devices when not in use.

Heaters can work for a total of 11 days without communication.

If the problem persists please contact our technical help line.
